David Brutti
He studied saxophone with J.-M. Londeix and M. B. Charrier at the Bordeaux Conservatory, receiving the “Médaille d’Or”, and subsequently earned a Master's Degree in Chamber Music under the guidance of Pier Narciso Masi at the “Accademia Pianistica Internazionale di Imola”.
From 2000 to 2008, he was awarded prizes in more than fifteen national and international competitions. In 2012, he began studying the cornett with Andrea Inghisciano. He regularly collaborates with various prestigious conductors and ensembles, including Lautten Compagney, Antonio Florio, Gabriel Garrido, Federico Maria Sardelli, Odhecaton, Accademia Bizantina, Modo Antiquo, La Pifarescha, Ensemble Il Gusto Barocco (Stuttgart), L’Estro d’Orfeo, Cappella Marciana (Venice), La Folia Barockorchester (Vienna), and Il Giardino Armonico.
He performs at numerous early music festivals such as the Festival Claudio Monteverdi (Cremona), Trigonale 2016 (Maria Saal - Austria), Sagra Musicale Umbra, and in major theatres and concert halls (Teatro Regio - Turin, Teatro Olimpico - Vicenza, Teatro Ponchielli - Cremona, Mannheim Nationaltheater, Auditorium Haydn - Bolzano, Teatro Abbado - Ferrara, Theater an der Wien - Vienna, Teatro La Pergola - Florence).
He has recorded for record labels and broadcasting stations such as Amadeus, BIS, Pan Classics, Dynamic, Brilliant Classics, Bongiovanni, Vatican Radio, ORF1, Tactus, Extended Place, and Pan Classics.
Nicola Lamon
He completed his musical studies at the "B. Marcello" Conservatory in Venice, graduating with highest honors in Organ and Organ Composition (under Elsa Bolzonello Zoja), Harpsichord (under Sergio Vartolo and Marco Vincenzi), and Pre-polyphony (under Lanfranco Menga). He attended numerous masterclasses with H. Davidsson, W. Porter, J.L. Gonzalez Uriol, Hans Fagius, and Christophe Rousset (Accademia Chigiana in Siena, Diploma of Merit).
He has won prizes in several organ and harpsichord competitions (Borca di Cadore, Viterbo, Fano Adriano, Fusignano, and the “Gianni Gambi” competition in Pesaro). For years, he has dedicated himself to the study of partimento, historical solfège, and improvisation focused on historically informed execution of basso continuo, actively promoting the use of historical keyboard instruments.
Together with David Brutti, he co-founded the duo “Seicento Stravagante” to showcase Renaissance and Baroque keyboard instruments. He is the organist and harpsichordist of Ensemble “I Disinvolti” (with whom he recorded a world premiere recording of a Vespers by G. A. Rigatti for Arcana) and collaborates with groups such as Cantar Lontano, I Barocchisti RSI, Divino Sospiro, Modo Antiquo, and Orchestra Lorenzo Da Ponte.
He is currently engaged in performing and recording the complete Well-Tempered Clavier and The Art of Fugue by J.S. Bach on a historical Silbermann replica. Described by Gramophone and Diapason as an “excellent organiste”, he is a professor of score reading at the Cimarosa Conservatory in Avellino and harpsichord at the Buzzolla Conservatory in Adria.
